Herrick Conferences at Purdue University
Modelon will attend the Herrick Conferences at Purdue University, where our experts will be available to discuss our contributions to a co-published study with the University of Maryland. The study highlights two-phase direct-to-chip cooling, an emerging technology for energy-efficient system design. Modelon Impact simulation software contributed to this research. Learn more about the study here: Why Two-Phase Direct-to-Chip Cooling is Reaching a Tipping Point
Modelon Solution Engineer Pratyush Agarwal will also share a new study on cross-library frost and defrost modeling for heat pumps. The work shows how frost-formation and reverse-cycle defrost physics—historically locked to a single library—can be brought natively into Modelon’s Heat Exchanger Library to support fin-and-tube and flat-tube coils, any refrigerant, and full system-level control studies. Modelon Impact powered the simulation work behind the research.
