Where they used to apply manual steady-state analysis, they can now efficiently run full vehicle and dynamic simulation to gather accurate and reliable insight into their designs. Today, Modelon and Rimac continue their partnership – working together to develop and deploy validated Rimac battery components as part of the Modelon Electrification Library.

Kruno Hrvatinić is the Head of Control and Simulation at Rimac Technology. His team develops control algorithms for high-performance electric powertrain components, and provides accurate FEM, CFD and reduced-order simulation results to internal and external customers. Currently, Kruno is leading the development of the company’s Battery State Estimation algorithms and designing the next generation of Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring.
Erik Durling is a Simulation Engineer based in Modelon’s Gothenburg office. Erik engages in service and research projects with automotive customers and is part of the core development team of Modelon’s Electrification Library. His previous experience includes working at Volvo Cars from 2011-2015 within the Electric Propulsion Systems Department. Erik completed his Masters in Science in Control and Mechatronics at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg.
