In this vehicle electrification on-demand webinar, [Rimac](https://www.rimac-automobili.com/en/) details their electrification journey. Rimac, a manufacturer of electric hypercars, drivetrains, and battery systems, based in Croatia, is best known for their advancements in developing electric powertrains. In partnership with Modelon, Rimac has developed a new approach to assess powertrain performance through technology and innovation, incorporating Modelon software into their process. Where they used to apply manual steady-state analysis, they can now efficiently run full vehicle and dynamic simulation to gather accurate and reliable insight into their designs. Today, Modelon and Rimac continue their partnership – working together to develop and deploy validated Rimac battery components as part of the [Modelon Electrification Library](https://modelon.com/library/electrification-library/).

His team develops control algorithms for high-performance electric powertrain components, and provides accurate FEM, CFD and reduced-order simulation results to internal and external customers. Currently, Kruno is leading the development of the company’s Battery State Estimation algorithms and designing the next generation of Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring.

Erik completed his Masters in Science in Control and Mechatronics at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg.
