Version 2.2 contains the changes described below.
- Improved compressor model. An assert has been introduced to ensure that the compressor data is reasonable and guards against division by zero mechanical efficiency.
- Updated friction correlation in Modelon.ThermoFluid.FlowChannels.PipeResistances.SinglePhase.DetailedWallFriction, which showed incorrect results for non-circular pipes.
- Corrected channel length propagation in Modelon.ThermoFluid.FlowChannels.DistributedChannel, so that the Nusselt number is correctly calculated in the heat transfer correlation.
- Air flow in cross flow heat exchangers is now correctly distributed dependent on the refrigerant side segment sizes. Previously, it was distributed uniformly across all segments.
Conversion of user libraries
No conversion of user libraries is required.
Vapor Cycle 2.2 is based on the Modelon Base Library 3.2 and Modelica Standard Library 3.2.2. It can be combined with Liquid Cooling Library 2.2 and Heat Exchanger Library 2.2.
