Modelon hosted a tutorial on optimization with the Optimica Compiler Toolkit
Modelon recently sponsored and participated in the 2015 North American Modelica User’s Group meeting in Storrs, CT. The event surpassed last year’s participation and offered a unique, focused opportunity for interactions between Modelica users in the US.
Modelon hosted a tutorial on optimization with the Optimica Compiler Toolkit.
Keynotes were given by Scott Bortoff from MERL and Luigi Vanfretti from KTH, Sweden. Both keynotes referred to interesting research done with Modelon’s JModelica.org platform.
Further Modelon work was presented by Oak Ridge National Labs in support of their TRANSFORM modeling activity for small modular nuclear reactors.
Kyle Palmer from the University of Connecticut presented the use of the JModelica.org platform for Optimal Experimental Design.
The panel discussion by the attendees provided an opportunity for a lively and useful interaction between the attendees.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2016 event when it is announced!
