Modelon experts will be at the 7th International Workshop on Aircraft System Technologies (AST 2019) held in Hamburg, Germany from February 19th to February 20th.
AST 2019 brings together a network of aviation engineers to talk about the latest technological advancements in the aerospace industry. Modern applications and future research will be presented during the workshop.
Michael Sielemann, Modelon’s Aerospace Industry Director, and Martin Horacek, Modelon’s Commercial Manager will be present at the workshop. Connect with them below ahead of the event!
Michael Sielemann is Modelon’s Aerospace Industry Director. He helps customers realize the potential of model-based design methods, and to deploy integrated modeling and simulation solutions. He is specialized in thermo-fluid dynamics, optimization, and numerical algorithms for the computation of steady-state solutions. Michael holds MSc and PhD degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (University of Stuttgart, Georgia Tech, Hamburg Institute of Technology).
Martin Horacek is the Business Development Manager at Modelon. Martin studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on combustion engines and two stage turbocharging from Czech Technical University. Martin’s previous experience includes Honeywell HTS where he worked on as a Performance Engineer, and Ricardo Software where he worked as an Application Engineer and Commercial Manager for 6 years. At Modelon, Martin is responsible for managing new and current business relations in the Nordics, France, Italy and Eastern Europe.
