Join Modelon and ThermoAnalytics as we demonstrate 1D and 3D model integration to support controller design in passenger EVs.

In this webinar, we will showcase climate control strategies based on the sensation and comfort level of a vehicle’s passenger. Coupling the physics of 1D simulation models with 3D thermal models allows for deeper understanding of full system behavior.

Viewers will see how this strategy affects energy consumption and performance for the climate system and battery cooling system.

Experts Vishnuvardhan Ranganathan, ThermoAnalytics, and John Batteh, Modelon, will demonstrate system models involving:

- 1D: Refrigerant system with evaporator and battery chiller, coolant loop to and from the battery, and air distribution system to and from the cabin
- 3D: Vehicle cabin and battery with cooling system

This webinar will take place on Thursday, September 21 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM EDT. To join this webinar, visit the [Thermoanalytics registration page](https://info.thermoanalytics.com/en/an-approach-to-controller-design-using-a-coupled-1d-3d-ev-model-webinar).
