SW engineer in the QA team

Modelon is building a system modeling and simulation platform of the future, operated in the cloud, Modelon Impact. This solutions are highly relevant for industries like aerospace, automotive, energy & process and industrial equipment. The solution needs highly interactive user interface for system modeling, massive parallelization of numerical simulations, post processing of large data sets and visualization in 2D and 3D. Collaborative system design preferred by modern engineers is a key capability of the platform, as well as high standards for IT security to keep sensitive customer product data safe.
As a SW engineer in the QA team you will design, implement and operate automated tests covering several test aspects, such as functionality, performance, and security. Good command over the language (Java, Python), logical thinking and attention to the details are key attributes that are required for this role. High performance in this role is expected and is demonstrated through good, structured, and efficient automated test execution that significantly reduces the lead time needed for manual testing.

Required skills and experiences
• 3+ years of experience of SW development in Java.
• 2+ years of experience of SW development in Python
• Ability to deliver efficient and reusable code that can be understood and maintained by others
• API testing
• Unit testing
• SW development in an agile team

Expected skills, experiences, or interests
• Automated UI testing with Selenium
• Setup and operation of CI environments such as Jenkins
