*As of August 16, 2024, Ikuko Yamanaka has been appointed Country Manager of Modelon KK.* *This leadership transition marks not just a change at the top but a significant step forward in our mission to deliver exceptional value to our customers across East Asia.*

Dear Modelon Community,

I initially got to know Modelon a decade ago. Since then, I have seen Modelon flourish on a global scale, especially in East Asia. As Modelon’s new Country Manager, I take this appointment with great honor and am determined to continue our progress in East Asia and beyond.  

I was educated in Japan, Sweden, and the UK. During my career, I have held positions at large financial institutions in Tokyo, Singapore and London. With decades of experience in global business, I bring an understanding of how to support large enterprises. Additionally, this appointment is a continuation of my connection to the Modelica community since 2016, when I supported the first Modelica conference held in Japan.

With this appointment, I intend for our valued customers to experience a seamless transition. The values that our customers have come to find synonymous with Modelon will remain and strengthen. My goal is to build a community in the East Asia region with the common goal of using system simulation to create truly innovative technology.

Together we face an exciting future full of opportunities confident that we can help our current and future customers reach new heights of success.
