The Academic products are full featured configurations aimed for researchers and teachers. The Student configurations are aimed for distribution to students for their personal computers and therefore have a relaxed license protection for convenience. Therefore, the Student configurations are also limited in functionality with respect to the model sizes (defined as a combination of number of components, equations, dynamic states, and more).
