Modelon will participate at the 2016 JSAE Annual Congress on May 25-27, in Yokohama with the presentation The Path Towards Virtual Development and Verification using FMI -- join Session no. 87 (Recent Movement of Model Exchange using FMI), Presentation no. 408, 13.50-14.15 on May 27.
The presentation outlines the conclusions from a research project carried out with Volvo Group on how the FMI standard can be applied to testing of automotive software, with an emphasis on requirements on plant model management. Mastering large-scale virtual integration is key to stay competitive in the automotive business.
Thus, it is imperative that the plant models are reusable across engineering teams for different purposes in different parts of the development cycle. The FMI standard provides an important building block in this context that has gained wide-spread adoption in the automotive industry.
Modelon will also exhibit Modelica and FMI model-based design solution – visit Modelon booth no. 139. You will get the chance to learn on Modelica technology for the automotive systems solution, including the state of art real-time driver-in-the-loop application and vehicle integrated thermal management application together with the FMI tools.
