Use the same tool as Formula 1 and NASCAR teams to tune, test and redesign your virtual formula car. Long before the real one has even seen the track. With Dymola, you can simulate a virtual prototype of a whole car, not just the mechanics, but also the electrics, hydraulics, or nearly whatever physical domain you want. 

This allows you to virtually configure and test both subsystems and your car as a whole, from very early on in the development process. The test results, even from a complete redesign, is only a few button-clicks away.

Vehicle Dynamics Library (VDL)

Dymola comes with a set of libraries, and the Vehicle Dynamics Library is dedicated for development of vehicle handling performance. The library contains ready to use suspensions, wheels, drive shafts, differentials, gear boxes, electric machines, and many more components. Additionally, there are driver models and tracks that allow a virtual driver to test your car.

The car model can also be imported into Simulink for control design and code generation.
