Hydraulics Library 4.0 comes with Thermo Hydraulics

This empowers you with the capability for using thermodynamic equations and also enables to disregard temperature effects when needed.

This empowers you with the capability for using thermodynamic equations and also enables to disregard temperature effects when needed.

To help you quickly get started we have made a descriptive guide available in the library. If needed, this can support you to easily implement own fluid models, or to use pre-defined ones for your hydraulic circuit. Models of working fluids are based on polynomials and accurately describe fluid properties dependent on temperature and pressure.

Interested only in the “old” Hydraulics just the way it used to be? Don’t worry for upgrading to 4.0: the old oil models with constant temperature work just like before. Plus we have added a lot of new features you don’t want to miss. We have updated our Elements sub-package and added jet-fuels to the fluid database. We have also added new graphical capabilities to the library. For a complete list of new features see the release notes.
