Modelon is seeking a motivated experienced Simulation Engineer. The candidate will be supporting our customers’ product development with simulation expertise for system simulations, especially for automotive applications. The position also includes development of simulation software, where the candidate will provide application expertise, and joint activities with Modelon’s sales team.
The position requires a balanced mix of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
The candidate should have industry experience from product development using system simulation and optimization. The position requires attention to quality, documentation and customer focus.
Applicants must have a valid work permit in Sweden. Proficiency in English and Swedish is required.

As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing to architecture, design, development and testing of the Modelon software products and tools. We expect you to be an active member of the development team; sharing knowledge and working with continuous improvement of work methodologies and environment.
You are an experienced Java programmer and team player with high ambitions to grow your expertise as a programmer in general and within compiler development.
Be part of a development team of highly skilled SW engineers that are developing a powerful computational platform for systems engineering, used by companies worldwide and with high demands on functionality and performance. Through collaboration with the in-house consultants as well with key customers, the team has a good overview of the usage of the platform as well as is empowered to influence the priorities.

This position is market-facing, responsible for discovering and winning commercial opportunities within a defined set of accounts, industry sector(s) and territory, representing the complete portfolio of Modelon products and services. This position can be based at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden, at our field offices in Germany (Hamburg and Munich); we are also open to other European locations.
The Business Development Manager builds high trust relationships with clients and colleagues, actively uncovering, and winning, sales opportunities that match Modelon solutions. You will be assigned accounts within a defined industry sector(s) and territory, you will also respond to inbound leads. You will aggressively qualify and advance opportunities by working in partnership with Modelon’s marketing, sales admin, Services and Application Engineering teams. You will independently qualify leads, drawing support from Modelon domain experts at the right time. For services opportunities, you will work with Modelon’s Services team to ensure program success from start to finish.

The Marketing Director holds ultimate responsibility for Modelon’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of an integrated brand, market and communication strategy. This position reports to Modelon’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The Marketing Director defines Modelon’s brand and market strategy including its research, planning, execution, and measurement.
The Director leads and manages the marketing team, external resources, and annual marketing budgets to ensure Modelon’s brand, marketing, and communication initiatives are delivered. You will expand and refine Modelon’s market presence and visibility so that prospects, customers, and employees clearly understand who we are, what we do, and our unique advantages. You will collaborate productively with Modelon’s business development, product strategy, software development, and engineering services teams to achieve company goals. You will provide a compelling vision, a determination to succeed, and the ability to direct resources to meet agreed priorities.

Direct the planning and development of compelling marketing collateral, in collaboration with Modelon’s business development team.
